Scheduling an Appointment

What do I need when scheduling an appointment?

Any major credit card number is required at the time of scheduling to secure your reservation.

What if I am late for my appointment?

Running late will simply limit the time of your treatment, but we will always do our best to accommodate you. However, we value every client’s time, so we will need to end on time as to not delay the next guest. Our technicians reserve their time specifically for their guests. In the event that you arrive late and unable to receive your scheduled service, the full value of your treatment will still be charged.

What if I need to cancel my scheduled appointment?

If you must reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify the spa at least four hours in advance to avoid being charged 50% of your scheduled service total. Cancellations of packages require at least 48-hours notice. Private parties, and groups of 4 or more, are subject to a one-week cancellation policy.

Prior to Arrival

What time shall I arrive?

To enhance your spa experience, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled treatment. This will allow time to relax prior to your treatment and fill out any required paperwork.

Do I shave before my waxing service?

Shaving is not recommended prior to waxing services unless you use an electric shaver. If you choose to shave, please do so at least six to eight hours before your appointment.  Avoid any physical activity that will cause excessive heat or perspiration following the service.

 Is there anything I should do before a waxing service?

To achieve a longer lasting result, the body hair must be at least ¼ inch long for effective removal. This is normally equivalent to two weeks of hair growth. Avoid prolonged sun exposure 24 hours before or after waxing.

Spa Services

Do you have to be a certain age to enjoy spa treatments?

Guests under 16 years of age are not eligible for body treatments and massages. Guests 12-16 years of age may receive facials with a parent or legal guardian consent. Guests under 8 years of under are only eligible for manicures and pedicures, but they must be accompanied in the room by a parent or legal guardian.

Are gift cards available from the spa?

Gift cards may be purchased online, over the phone, and in the spa. Beyond Beaute gift cards may be purchased for a specific dollar amount or package, and can be used toward services and retail products in our boutique. Gift cards may not be used to purchase additional gift cards.

Upon Arrival

What should I wear for massage or body treatments?

Although, massage or body treatments are enjoyed without being fully clothed, the body is fully draped during all treatments except for the area being worked on. Your comfort is of the utmost importance, so please feel free to wear whatever feels comfortable to you. Disposable underwear are available upon request. If you purchased a spa package, terry cloth robe and towel will be provided. A bathing suit or undergarment is required for men receiving massages or body treatments.

What about my comfort?

Scheduling a pre-treatment consultation at the time of your reservation could be beneficial to address any concerns regarding your comfort. Your spa experience is your time, so you should delight in it to the fullest. If you experience any discomfort due to room temperature, massage pressure, music volume, or any other conditions, please tell your therapist immediately.

Do you have a waiting area?

Guests are encouraged to relax before or after their treatments in our relaxation room. We offer a variety of complementary beverages including wine.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, cash, Beyond Beaute gift cards or checks. We do not accept any prepaid gift cards from Visa or other merchants.

Is gratuity included?

Gratuity is not included, but we ask that you appropriately acknowledge exceptional service.

What major credit cards do you except?

We accept all major credit cards.

Health Questions

What if I have special health concerns?

When making reservations, please notify the agent if you have high blood pressure, allergies, any physical ailments or disabilities, or if you are pregnant (there are a few services that should be avoided during pregnancy, specifically in the first trimester, but many that can be enjoyed).

If you are joining us for a spa package that includes lunch, please let us know any dietary restrictions at the time of scheduling.
